Boguslaw Polch was a colleague of Grzegorz Rosinski in art college. His first steps he took in 1958 in "Korespondent Wszedobylski" were he published two short science-fiction stories: "Wyprawa via kosmos" and "Sloneczny rejs Przygody". In the beginning of 70's he drew seven parts of "Kapitan Zbik". Since 1977 he has been a member of ZAiKS (Association of Authors and Scenic Composers). In the same year he started to co-operate with ECON and between 1978 and 1982 he published in Germany a series "According to Erich von Daniken". It has been translated into twelve languages and achieved the total edition of more than one million copies. In 1982 he draw for UNESCO a comics entitled "Rycerze fair-play" ("Fair-play knights").
In 1982 "Funky Koval" was created, recognized as the best Polish comic. Three parts have been published until today. The last Polch's work of art are six parts of "Wiedzmin" (based on Sapkowski's novel) about which comic fans said that they were as bad as bad can be. Polch' s way of drawing is very detailed, elegant, dynamique and clear. The drawer created more than one thousand comic charts, published twenty five albums in Poland with the total edition of five million copies.
